DIVE TRIPS

DIVE TRIPS

One of the great advantages of SCUBA diving in Grand Cayman is that due to the layout of the Island we can dive year-round! Generally the West side has the calmest waters with winds coming predominantly from the East, but we can offer dives from the North, West, East, South, the Ex-USS Kittiwake & Stingray City.

See below for further information on our daily/weekly dive trips.

As part of Red Sail Sports commitment to our guests safety and enjoyment, we have the following policies in place;

  • If you or anyone in your dive group have not been diving in over a year we strongly recommend that you/they do a shallow 1 tank dive before participating in a deep wall dive. This will allow you to check correct weighting and familiarise with dive equipment.

  • Similarly, we strongly recommend that if you completed your Open Water Course over a year ago and have not been diving since that you join a refresher class to get yourself comfortable in the water before diving again.

  • If you or anyone in your dive group have not dived in the last 2-5 years then you/they will be required to take a refresher class prior to any further diving with us.

  • If you or anyone in your dive group have not dived for over 6 years then you/they will be required to complete a PADI Scuba Tune-Up with one of our Instructors prior to any further diving with us.

  • If you or anyone in your dive group are Open Water Divers (or equivalent) and have not dived for over 10 years then we strongly recommend you consider re-taking your PADI Open Water Certification prior to any further diving with us. A lot has changed over the last 10+ years in diving (equipment, emergency procedures, etc) and we feel it would be beneficial for you to update your dive training skills. If you choose not to re-take the full Open Water Course then you will be required to take the PADI Scuba Tune-Up.

If you are interested in trying diving, getting certified or furthering your dive experience please see our 'dive training' page.
